Daisy card

I was inspired by My Hideaway idea to make this card. I love how simple and elegant her flowers are. I used a different color scheme, a taller vase and embossed the mat and the vase to give them a professional look. My cuttlebug and Walk in My Garden arrived this afternoon. I couldn't simply wait.

Cartridge used: Walk in My Garden
Swiss Dots and Daisy Pattern embossing folders
Flowers: 2'', vase: 2''1/2, stems: 2''1/2
The stripe made with purple glitter

Frog cards

My daughter is a member of a kindergarten's class called Green Frogs, so I have been looking for cartridges with (a) frog(s) on it. I just made these two for her.

The first frog is from Create a Critter; the second one, Give a Hoot. Both were cut at 2''1/2. So were the lotus leaves. I used the shadow for the front of the second card.

Hope you like them

4-season cards

Hello,

I tried making the autumn card first. And then the idea of doing the other 3 season cards came across my mind. Here are the results.

Spring and summer cards

Autumn and winter cards

Spring card:
Cartridges used: Stretch your imagination for the phrase (1''3/4) and the bird (3''), Give a hoot for the branch (1''1/2)

Summer card:
Cartridges used: Stretch your imagination for the bike (2''3/4), Create a Critter for the sun (1''1/2), Plantin Schoolbook for the grass (1''3/4)

Autumn card:
Cartridges used: Stretch your imagination for the tree and leaves (2''3/4) and the phrase (1''1/2), Give a hoot for the grass (1''1/4). There are 3 tulips in the grass, but I cut them off. I should have placed the dark green grass on the light green one so that it has the feel of autumn.

Winter card:
Cartridges used: Stretch your imagination for all. Card and frame: 4'', snowflakes: 1'' and 2''.

I might have listed some wrong measurements 'cause I did from memory. I will note them more systematically from now on.

Happy Thursday.

My first card for a challenge

I got my Cricut 5 days ago, made some "test" cards and now decided to take part in one of the challenges at The Pink Stamper. It is a color challenge: make a card or a layout using 3 colors: steal or blue, green and brown.

I used the Create a Critter cartridge. The hippo was cut at 2''1/4; water, 1''3/4; grass, 1''3/4.

My first order reaching

A good morning message from the businesswoman who helped with ordering craft stuff for me from the US websites: You cricut is in Hanoi now.

I almost jumped like a kid. After weeks of waiting and dreaming, I have it now.

The order this time includes a cricut expression, some cartridges, a trimmer and a tool kit. Papers and embellishments are on the coming orders.

I can't wait to make my first cards/lay-outs.
